| Description: | From September 26th through October 31st, 2010, the Shippan Designer Show House will showcase a dazzling array of chic room designs from some of the most talented and respected designers, suppliers and manufacturers in the Northeast. This event, produced by impresario Franco Grimaldi and his Talent Resource Centre, LLC will benefit Stamford Museum & Nature Center. The 9,000 sq. ft “1922” European-styled house located in the “by-the-sea” community of Shippan in a picture perfect setting overlooking Long Island Sound will be unveiled at an exclusive Opening Night Celebration Party on September 25, 2010.
The Shippan Designer Show House will feature creations from the celebrated interior designer Jack Fhillips of West Palm Beach, Beverly Balk of New York, and some of the tri-state’s most talented and respected designers. Grimaldi said: “Bringing a Show House to fruition is similar to theatre; both entail drama, hard work and creativeness.” For those of you who have shared with Talent Resource Centre the exciting world of Designer Show Houses in the past, Franco and his team will once again dazzle homeowners and visitors with unique, livable spaces that transform one’s imagination and attitude.
Volunteers are needed to form the Leadership Committee which will help plan and organize the opening night celebration which will take place on Saturday, September 25th at the historic Marion Castle, home of event honorary chairs Thomas L Rich and Suzanne Van Nostrand on Shippan Point. Volunteers are also needed to secure corporate and in-kind sponsorships, sell advertising space in the event journal, sell tickets to the show house and act as show house docents .The organization hopes to involve new networks of individuals and corporations and seeks volunteers willing to include their friends and business associates in this bene |
